POSTPANGANDARAN,- Golden Globes tahun ini berlangsung pada Minggu 9 Januari 2022 lalu dengan menghadirkan beberapa pemenangan Golden Globes yang luar biasa. Proses Pemungutan suara dan keuangan melihat penghargaan, yang dijalankan oleh Asosiasi Pers Asing Hollywood, diboikot oleh selebriti. Upacara tahun ini, yang berlangsung di Hotel Beverly Hilton, diubah menjadi acara pribadi.
Penghargaan Golden Globe adalah penghargaan yang dianugerahkan oleh 87 anggota Asosiasi Pers Asing Hollywood mulai Januari 1944. Hal ini mengacu pada penghargaan film dan televisi Amerika dan internasional.
Dalam kategori film, pemenangnya adalah “The Power of the Dog” yang dibintangi Benedict Cumberbatch. Film ini berhasil meraih tiga penghargaan, yaitu film terbaik, sutradara terbaik untuk Jane Campion dan aktor pendukung terbaik untuk Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Kate Winslet memenangkan aktris terbaik dalam serial terbatas untuk Mare of Easttown dan Jean Smart meraih aktris terbaik dalam serial TV untuk “Hacks”, yang juga memenangkan serial TV terbaik. Untuk Aktor Terbaik dalam Film diraih oleh Andrew Garfield
Sementara itu Will Smith memenangkan aktor terbaik dalam film , Kristen Stewart yang digadang-gadang menjadi pemenang dalam aktris terbaik harus rela dikalahkan oleh Nicole Kidman dalam peranya Sebagai Lucille Ball dalam “Being the Ricardos”.
